LITANY FOR A PURE HEART

“Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God,”Matt. 5:8. Is My heart pure about what I am thinking about? Is My heart clean concerning this motive? Are My mind, My will and My emotions pure about what I am about to do? Am I concerned about everyone and everything when I make this decision? Am I a highly moral person? Am I in control of my Self?

I know that language is limited for explanation. I know that I will never conceal Impure Motives within Communication. I know that language and other forms of Communication used wisely are healing. I know that God is Love. I know that God is Consciousness. I know that God is Spirit. I know that God is PURE ENERGY. I know that God is Everything. I know that God is Eternal. I know that I am a spark of God. I know that I have met God inside and outside of Myself. I know that because I have Accepted Myself and deeply SURRENDERED to being as HONEST with Myself as I can, forever, that I am loving Myself. I know that I am Honestly managing My Energy. I know that Honesty is Light to My Soul. I know that this Surrender to Honesty process has led Me to lovingly accept Myself for who and what I am. I know that I am Energy. I know that loving Myself has led me to casting out fears and false notions that obstructed m Me from God Awareness. I know that courageously facing fears, along with understanding false notions, and casting them out leads to Free-Flowing Whole Brain Thinking. I know that courageously facing and analyzing painful and toxic experiences and casting them out of Me leads to Free-Flowing Whole Brain Thinking. I know that this process of Self-Honesty directly connects Me with God. I know that this process of Self-Honesty that I am committed to gets Me more in tune and more in tune with the Celestial Frequency over time. I know that the heavenly frequency channels through Me. I know that I can be One with God. I know that I am Spirit. I know that I am Eternal. I know that Self-Honesty is for Clarification of God. I know that the first and true purpose of life is for clarification of God, and for igniting this spark of God, for Me, in Me and around Me. I know that God has always taken care of Me and will continue to do so. I know that the more Honest I am, the more I will ignite the spark of God in Others.. I know that the Heart is the gateway to heaven.

I know that I need to understand proper nutrition for My physical vehicle. I know that yoga and other forms of exercise get Me in touch with My Breathing. I know that I need to be conscious of My Breathing. I know that yoga and other exercise will balance My Heart/Soul/Body/Mind/Spirit and keep Me in the present moment or the eternal now. I know that I need to Control Myself. I know that I try very hard to keep My Heart Pure in my interactions with Others. I know that being emotional can raise consciousness. I know that Heart-Felt and Mind-Created Rhetoric raises Consciousness. I know that I am sensitive and concerned about the feelings of Myself and Others. I know that I try not to disturb the feelings of Others. I know that because I am familiar with Meditation and Breathing Techniques that I can Calm Myself Down wherever I am when it is needed. I know that I must link my calm state of being that I receive from Meditation, Contemplation, other forms of Prayer, Work, Study, Exercise and Play with Self-Honesty-Investigation. I know that the ability to be Alone and Contemplate is a quality of a Loving person. I know that Discipline, Patience and Concentration are qualities of a Loving Person. I know that I must practice character development in general. I know that everything I do is a spiritual activity. I know that I try to be a living prayer.

I know most of all that I need to keep my commitment to being Honest with Myself and Others no matter what I am doing. I know that I need to have a strong will. I know that I have to keep working at having Courage. I know that I have to Stand Up for Myself if it is needed. I know that I experience the joy of Perpetual Guidance because I have SURRENDERED to God. I know that God is the Universe. I know that I am the Consciousness of the Earth. I know that I am the Cosmos and a Cosmic being at the same time. I know that I am a guardian of the Cosmos.

I know that I have to Forgive Myself and Others because We could not help Ourselves. I know that We project and communicate from different levels or degrees of understanding. I know that We see more ego in some people than in Others. I know that many people are acting. I know that each of Us has problems. I know that We accept and overcome Our problems. I know that I Pray and Act for people who have extreme hardships.

I know that I am not a SEPARATE being. I know that I am Conscious of Myself Among Others. I know that I Love Others. I know that I am ONE with Others. I know that I am Aware how I affect Others. I know that We are all the Same Inside Ourselves. I know that We all are the same Soul that is simply in different bodies that are experiencing different physical conditions and Awareness. I know that Others can carry possible disease in their DNA. I know that We can become spiritually warped. I know that We all need to Accept and Love Our individual Selves no matter what are Our individual conditions. I know that it is harder for some people to Accept their Self, and their conditions, than it is for Others. I know that the people that it is harder for can do great things once they Accept and get a hold of their Selves. I know that We should not compare Our Self to Others. I know that this is Universal Knowledge. I know that My Heart that I struggle to keep Pure helps Others to Love themselves. I know that I am Conscious Of Losing My Ego. I know that I am Conscious of being unselfish. I know that I am generous. I know that I have faced Myself the way that I am. I know that I know Myself. I know that the more that I know Myself, the more I know Others. I know that I can be wrong. I know that I will admit when I am wrong. I know that I will correct My Mistakes. I know that in My communication I will Never Distort My Reality, or reality in general. I know that I have established my own style. I know that I do not need group approval. I know that I do not define Myself by what Others think of Me. I know that I do not define Myself on how I “make” Others see Me. I know that I am not a status seeker. I know that I do not have a habit of manipulation. I know I do not compete with Others. I know that I am Self-Realized. I know that I have Awakened. I know that We all have unique personal gifts to offer. I know that We are all unique expressions of the Divine. I know that people can be mistaken about Me. I know that My purpose in life is for charity to Others.

I know that Our Human Race is evolving and that We need to have PURE HEARTS Individually and Collectively.

I was born in Wisconsin to a Roman Catholic family. My mother June was a talented writer and started her own service club. My father Joe was a Right-of-Way agent for Bell telephone. Joe was an avid golfer and overall sports enthusiast. Joe would play sports with me and I became a life-long athlete. I was known as a rebel and was expelled from the Catholic school I attended at the age of fourteen. I was arrested at nineteen for being a thief and was placed on probation. Around this time, not being happy, I turned inward. I worked at different jobs that did not satisfy my budding inner life. I traveled down south several times reading books trying to find myself. In 1980, at the age of twenty-seven, I enrolled at a local college. I was now in an interesting environment. I was curious about almost everything and I eventually majored in speech and psychology or speaking and thinking. Many people told me that I was funny. I was able to make them laugh about unusual subjects. In the summers of 1981 and 1982, while still a college student, I traveled to Minneapolis and pursued the art of stand-up comedy. During these summers I would write comedy, run twenty-five miles a week and perform comedy at night. I was also a juggler but did not juggle in my stand-up act. I took up Hatha yoga and studied nutrition. In Minneapolis, I interacted with the local up-and-coming comedians. Minneapolis at that time had a small close-knit comedy culture that produced a good number of comedians and some became quite famous. I was making audiences laugh shortly after I started. During this time I was also performing comedy in other cities. I planned on being a professional comedian. Catholicism conditioned me to have a clear inner voice. I had to make people laugh and the only way I could see to do it was to be brutally honest with myself. I thought honesty would align me with common reality. The Sisters of St. Agnes, who taught me, always told me to tell the truth. So I was continually examining myself and weeding out delusional thinking. This became my way of life. One day in 1983, I was alone at my parents house and all of a sudden I had a massive spontaneous kundalini awakening. The awakening of this spiritual energy made me realize my self. I achieved the ability, among others, to see through other peoples egos or read their hearts. I was forever changed. In 1983 there was no internet or otherwise easily accessible information for me to be able to find out what had happened to me. Because of the massive explosion of energy my nervous and digestive system had to rebuild. Due to what happened to me, I changed my plans and soon moved in with my best friend and her son. We lived together for many years. I hid out in college going on and off for thirteen years. I read one book after another to understand what happened to me. I eventually received an M.A. in Speech/Rhetoric and also amassed many extra college credits. Currently I am an investor and forever a student. I am repentant of the trouble I got into years ago and the embarrassment it brought to my parents. People that knew me when I was a kid remark that I sure changed my ways. I went through what I call psycho/spiritual/physical alchemy or I transformed myself by healing the past and living in the ongoing present.
