Hanblecheyapi: CRYING FOR A VISION

Every man can cry for a vision or “lament”; and in the old days we all-men and women-“lamented” all the time. What is received through the “lamenting” is determined in part by the character of the person who does this, for it is only those people who are very qualified who receive the great visions, which are interpreted by our holy man, and which give strength and health to our nation. The Indian actually identifies himself with, or becomes, the quality or principle of the being or thing that comes to him in a vision, whether it be a beast, a bird, one of the elements, or really any aspect of creation. Footnote 2, (45)

Christianity calls the alchemy of the ego merging with Universal Consciousness Divine Union. Yoga calls this merging of the ego with Universal Consciousness realizing the Universal Self. Now, let us use the theoretical David R. Hawkins Map of Consciousness as a guide for this understanding. A person who has undergone the interior merger or alchemy of opposites for ego merging with Universal Consciousness sees and knows the Universal Self in everybody. A person at this level sees and knows where others are obstructed from Universal Consciousness. This is the 700 level or “ground floor” for what is called Enlightenment on the Hawkins Map. It is most definite that humanity has the potential to eventually evolve and collectively exist at 700. You are not perfect at 700. 700 is the “ground floor” starting point for growing higher in vibration to level 1000 on the Map where Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, and Lord Jesus Christ existed. The reason many gurus and saintly people got themselves into trouble is that they were not perfect as many of them came off to be. In other words, they were not fully sanctified.

Universal Consciousness is hiding inside you behind your ego so to speak. The objective of all religions and traditions has always been for the ego in you to merge with the Universal or Supreme Spirit which is also inside of you and outside of you so to speak. Indigenous people call this the Great Spirit. It can be brought to light in you. The problem has been, up until now, that teachers in the religions and traditions have been well-meaning people (they can be egotistical) who have been trying to explain a subject that they are working on realizing themselves. Many people claim to be mystics and enlightened. For the purpose of clarification, traditionally the branch of Theology called Mystical Theology has defined a mystic as someone who is enlightened because of the achievement of Divine Union inside themself. Divine Union is the merging of the ego with Universal Consciousness. Divine Union is the ultimate realization for the health science of yoga which means to yoke or put together. Very few currently alive people on earth today have achieved Divine Union. If you have not achieved this Union which is Self-Realization or Us-Realization, and you know if you have, it is unfair to humanity to claim you have because people will trust you. People only have so much time on earth. This is what is meant by the spiritual ego of teachers. We share Universal Consciousness. At the moment when you Super Intuitively realize the Universal Consciousness which is you realizing the Universal Soul/Spirit/Mind/Self in yourself, you then realize it, know it, and see it in everyone else and this is Divine Union. Research about Kundalini. Most teachers explain Union intellectually. Self-Realization is Super Intuitional knowing that your ego has merged with the Universal Supreme Spirit. People can misread a realized person because they do not grasp the overall intention (the grounding) behind the realized person’s thoughts, words, and actions.

I have said in a number of these essays that we realize the same self, which is the Universal Self, and this same self in all of us is what is hiding behind your ego so to speak. The ego has to dissolve somewhat so to speak. It does not matter what type of person you are because we all share the same Universal Self and when you realize the Universal Self it is called Self-Realization or Us-Realization. Employing a holistically realized methodology will bring more of us to see and know the Universal Consciousness that we share. I visualize us merging into a Universal Religion. Theologians like Matthew Fox have already created organizations like Creation Spirituality. World religions need to get on board with what indigenous people refer to as the Creator. Great relief and comfort come with Self-Realization because we realize the Oversoul that we share. This is the peace that passes all understanding. Until this happens we practice Faith, Hope, and Charity. Jesus was a teacher of enlightenment or Universal Consciousness. Below see how the enlightened Paul explains Universal or Cosmic or Christ Consciousness to the minds of people at Paul’s point in time.

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-28

Jesus and others have led us to the gate of Super Intuition where we realize the (our) Universal/Supreme/Holy Spirit or like just mentioned we are “one in Christ Jesus.”

This is because you actually see and know what is going on with others. You become an insider of humanity. Self-Realization tunes you into the heartbeat of the earth and the entire cosmos. The totality of Self-Realization is a loving realization of Creation. This has been called Cosmic Consciousness. As you awaken to our Universal Self which is the formless conscious aspect of our Universal Spirit you will experience renewed youthfulness while you glorify others with your life.
